I've started building ScenePeek 3 years ago with a couple of breaks in-between. I still work on it and try to improve it whenever I'm available.
My goal is to build an ad-free, tracker-free alternative to IMDB that simplifies global content discovery. To achieve this, I’ve implemented a 'Discover' feature that allows users to easily explore movies and shows using filters such as country, language, and genres and many more.
When I found Seerr (back when it was called Jellyseerr), I wanted to make requesting media easier. So, I added some basic API support to let users request shows and movies and manage requests from others right in the app.
